Transition Streets brings neighbours together to get better acquainted, while learning collaboratively how to save money, reduce environmental footprints, and empower neighbours to work together to create positive and long term environmental and social change. Each neighbourhood group that registers is provided with a trained facilitator who will help them along their journey – We hope this can be you! Help lead meetings, guide the group through activities, support them in making decisions and act as a conduit to the resources eMERGE Guelph can provide.
Training is provided and mandatory (1.5 days, 9-4pm & 9-12pm). Facilitation experience is an asset, but not required. Click here to download a detailed role description.
