Home Tune Up Support Crew

Time Commitment: 2-4 hours per week, 4 months minimum

 

Job Purpose

The Support Crew is a core component of the Home Visit program, which provides resources and consultation regarding energy use, waste, water, alternative transportation, and sustainable food choices. Home visits consultations are conducted by trained Auditors and Support Crew (Volunteers).

Duties and Responsibilities

Assisting the Efficient Home Advisor by performing some or all of the following:

  • Recording light bulb types
  • Checking tap flow rates
  • Checking hot water temperature
  • Installing pipe wrap over pipes
  • Giving out CFL light bulbs
  • Checking phantom load power
